Dr. Saheed Adesegun Okubena is a seasoned financial services executive with over eighteen years of progressive experience across the banking and non-banking financial sectors. He possesses deep expertise in financial products, investment strategies, and advisory services, consistently delivering tailored financial solutions aligned with clients’ strategic objectives. Dr. Okubena holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Management, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Financial Management. He is also an Associate Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), reflecting his strong appreciation for market-driven financial strategy and client engagement.
He began his banking career in 2007 and has built a distinguished track record with leading financial institutions, including Access Bank, Skye Bank, Heritage Bank, Wema Bank, and Assets & Resource Management (ARM). Throughout his career, he has served in various leadership and strategic roles, notably as Head of Institutional Asset Management at ARM (Abuja). He subsequently assumed the position of Managing Director at Cordros Advisory Services Limited, a subsidiary of Cordros Capital Limited.
Dr. Okubena’s experience spans commercial banking, asset management, and investment banking. He has excelled as a branch manager in two commercial banks in Nigeria, demonstrating strong operational leadership, business development acumen, and a consistent ability to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
